Hello, dear bookish friends, and happy Sunday!
What a wonderful week of reading it's been. Lately, a few friends have asked me how I manage to read so much while working full time—doesn’t my brain get tired? Honestly, not when it comes to reading! I find that diving into fiction uses a different part of my mind, one that isn’t worn out from the workday. It’s like giving my brain a cozy retreat—a peaceful breather that brings me joy.
THIS WEEK. I had the pleasure of reading three ARCs from NetGalley, and I absolutely adored them. Each one was a little world I was thrilled to escape into. Here is the Book Review for The Restoration Garden by Sara Blaydes and I will be posting full reviews of the others this week because, believe me when I tell you, they are so good!
I also wrote a blog post about how my taste in books has changed and how I felt that what I was reading, was compromising my faith— When Reading No Longer Felt Right: Choosing Stories That Honor My Faith — Garden Feast.
THIS COMING WEEK. I’ve got a few more books lined up for the coming week, and I can’t wait to dive in. They’re not brand new releases, but I discovered these authors through the ARCs I recently read—and now I’m eager to explore more of their work. Isn’t it the best feeling when you find a new favorite author?
That’s all from me for now, friends! I’m already looking forward to the reading adventures that await in the coming week. I hope whatever you're reading brings you joy, comfort, and maybe even a little magic. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
